The individual items included in these box packs for moving home can all be purchased separately on the
Build Your Own Order page. These packs, however, work out considerably cheaper. Furthermore, once you add a pack to your basket, everything's heavily discounted thereafter, so you can quite easily increase the size of a pack to suit your needs.
Like our
House Moving Kits, the Box Packs only include double wall (DW) cardboard boxes. Most removal companies will only use double strength boxes for packing during a move. This is primarily for insurance but another reason might be, if you intend to stack or store your belongings for any length of time, single wall (SW) boxes might not withstand the strain for long.
As a guide we therefore advise you not to triple stack single wall boxes. Nevertheless there's always scope to use them for those items that might not need as much protection, and can be stacked at the top of each column.
We have undergone considerable research with thousands of home movers to ensure the size and strength of our boxes are big enough and strong enough to do a job but not too big that you can’t pick them up once they’re full, so when you compare the cost with other sites, make sure you check both their size and strength.
